Background

Our client is a professional European shipyard specializing in the design and construction of commercial cargo vessels and working boats. The ship’s bridge console and cabin control systems require large quantities of reliable control components that can withstand harsh ocean conditions.

Project Challenges

Standard industrial buttons failed frequently on their vessels. High salt spray, continuous hull vibration and high humidity caused rust, poor contact and short service life. The client also needed custom printed symbols and multi-specification components for different console panels, requiring flexible sample testing and mass delivery schedules.

Our Solution

We supplied IP68 waterproof stainless steel push buttons, emergency stop switches and anti-corrosion marine indicator lights optimized for marine environments. We provided full pre-production samples for salt spray and vibration testing. Custom legend printing and voltage customization were offered to match their panel drawings. One-stop component sourcing and phase-based batch delivery perfectly matched their shipbuilding timeline.

Project Results

All components passed strict marine environment reliability tests. No corrosion or failure occurred after long-term offshore operation. The customized layout fully adapted to the vessel’s control system. We have become their long-term stable supplier for new shipbuilding projects.
